Onboarding
The next generation of ShowingTime is the next step in showing management. Built with both security and convenience in mind, it is available on desktops, tablets, and your mobile phone 24/7.
You can log in at https://agent.showingtime.com as a new or returning ShowingTime user. Jump ahead to a specific section if you prefer.
If you do not know your username or password you can select the Need help signing in? link beneath the Sign In button. When you do and if you have an account, you will receive a sign-in code sent to your email. You can use this code to recover your password.
Next, you will be asked to review your information. You can add a listing photo here and on this screen, you can update your name and contact number. You have the option to add a total of three phone numbers and can select one of them to be used for SMS.
If you are looking to notify other agents, you can add them as co-listing agents on the listing. You should avoid adding phone numbers or email addresses of other users in your ShowingTime profile.
Select Update and Continue to move to the next section.
As a listing agent, you may know that all of your listings are vacant and/or can be shown at any time. You can set the default appointment type for All of your listings* in your profile.
*You can change the appointment type for a listing individually on the listings setup tab.
Auto-Confirm - When an appointment is scheduled on a listing with the appointment type of Auto-Confirm, the request is immediately confirmed. Owners/occupants and other listing contacts are notified.
Typically this appointment type is used for vacant listings or when owners are extremely flexible.
Confirmation Required - Permission must be obtained from ANY of the designated listing contacts (Owner(s)/ Occupant(s)/ Listing Agent(s)) before the appointment request can be confirmed. Sometimes, you may need to obtain confirmation from ALL of the listing contacts or just one before the requesting agent is notified that their appointment is confirmed.
Typically this appointment type is used for listings with specific instructions, owners that work from home, multi-dwelling listings, or accompaniment situations.
Refer to Listing Agent - Sometimes you'll want to manage the access information, check in with the buyer's agent, or verify pre-approval before a showing is scheduled. You can set a listing to this appointment type when you just want the agent to contact you.
Typically used for listings that require a bit more management.
View Instructions Only - This appointment type doesn't require confirmation. The information you enter in the instructions field is immediately displayed to the requesting agent.
Typically used for listings with special showing instructions.
Additional settings on this screen include the ability to enable Offer Manager* for your listings.
You will also be able to select your default Showing Type and Appointment Length. You can select the inspection type if you are Inspector, appraisals if you are performing an appraisal, or first, second, or third showing if that is your area of specialty. You can select your default showing length. If you know that the homes you will be showing will require 30 minutes for a good showing and 45 for an excellent one, you can set your default to 45 minutes.
When you are on the scheduling screen, these defaults will appear automatically; however, you can change them.
Select Update and Continue to move to the next section.
You will be able to review your notifications, defaults, and contact information at any time from your profile. However, we recommend that you review them during the onboarding process. Take a moment and review your Listing Notifications, Offer Notifications**, and Showing Notifications.
You can select to be notified by :
Push - Push notifications appear on your device based on apps that you have installed
Email - Emails can be selected for most notification events.
Text (SMS) - Texts are sent over your cellular network.
Call - An automated call is delivered by our appointment specialists.
SMS notifications and calls can be affected by carrier outages.
Once you finish, you can review your ShowingTime Profile, where you'll have a chance to review the settings above at any time. You can optionally View your Listings and/or Schedule a Showing.

If You Have an Account
- Login with your username and password.
- Once in your account, click or tap the banner at the top of your screen that says, “Start using the next generation experience." You will be taken to a new page to log in to the next generation experience and prompted to update your password.

Your new password should contain:- A minimum of 8 characters
- At least 1 lower case letter (a-z)
- At least 1 upper case letter (A-Z)
- At least one number (0-9)

Note: Certain settings and features are determined by the MLS, association, or board and may not be available in all markets. Features may be available via products or upgrades which are not available in some markets. You may need to enable the settings for some listings. The information presented in our training materials is a general representation of ShowingTime products.
